Mountain West Predictions

It appears that this conference doesn't have any published tie breakers, so I just went with overall record then head-to-head.  That's right, I have Boise beating Georgia in the opener for both teams.  I'll have more on Jawjah in a few days, suffice it to say I see Boise as the superior team.  Traveling to San Diego will be difficult.  Brady Hoke left behind a lot at San Diego State, a team in the hands of Rocky Long, who did as well as Hoke did in an equally difficult place in New Mexico, SDSU could also go 11-1 with a win in Ann Arbor, the only other loss being at Air Force, whom I am quite bullish on.  I think Troy Calhoun and Tim Jefferson are great at their respective positions, something the nation will see when Air Force hands Notre Dame their first loss of the year.  Texas Christian loses a lot from the Rose Bowl team, and must travel to the projected top 3.  Nice going-away present.  Remember when Colorado State was among the best in this conference.  They're slowing making their way out of the wilderness.  The bottom three teams are among the worst in 1-A.
